About Las Vegas
Left on Monday afternoon and spent two nights at the Hilton. Spent most of the time walking around with my two sisters. Temperatures of about 110 degrees in the day time and the 90's at night, WELCOME TO summer in the desert. The good thing about it, OUTLETS. Came at the right place, at the right time. Well, there was one at Primm, the 1st exit of Nevada, a.k.a. State Line. Summer Sales, yummy, American Eagle Outlet, Reebok Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, and other stores, which is the start of my makeover of my wardrobe. Then there was one right before you hit Las Vegas City off of Diamond Head Exit. Practically the same stores, but found some of the outlets very interesting. Even went by the shops at Ceasar's Palace, but that was super expensive.
The interesting changes I've noticed about L.V. since my last visit from New Year's is the backyard Monorail along Paradise Road, that's the same street to get access to the Sahara Parking Lots, and the Hilton. The Rail goes along from Sahara to maybe the Four Corners (Excalibur, MGM, Tropicana, NYNY), and the slot machines where you pick the denomination ($.01, $0.05, $0.25, $0.50, $1).
Had two brunch buffets at Sahara. Yummy. But still, the greatest Buffet, hands down is the Aladdin Spice Market Buffet. Go there! Open Bar, dammit.
Had my 3/4 pound hot dog at the place left of Circus Circus, has a picture of the dog for 1.49. And awesome Nachos at Gameworks for 2.95. Then watched for the 2nd time, The Terminal. Catherine Zeta Jones is yummy in that movie.
