Are you dying for Anatolian Culture & Food??

hehe...yeah, I saw that and I had no clue as to what it was. APPARENTLY, Anatolia refers to Turkish culture and this weekend at the OC Fairgrounds is the Anatolian Culture and Food Festival.

That bit of info. is for those of you who have adventurous taste buds. =)

Hello

Hey,

I haven't gotten a chance to visit yet but I'm planning on coming back this Friday and staying till Sunday afternoon. I'll let you guys know for sure by wednesday.

My computer stopped working on me. *grumble grumble* I actually am on campus just so I can use the internets.

As for vacation ideas...

*Avoid Mexico
*Consider a Cruise (go celebrity if possible but any cruise line should be ok)
*Pismo Beach
*BC, Canada
*Take mini day trips to different locations you haven't yet seen in SoCal. Museums you have yet to see, Huntington Library, a show in LA, the long beach aquarium, a native american casino, restaurants you've always wanted to try, Glen Ivy Day Spa.
*Flight/hotel package to somewhere like costa rica, jamaica, or hawaii. Although prices at this time of year are typically expensive.
*You could just check jetblue or southwest for any of their cheaper destinations and see what's enticing.
*Napa, Sonoma
*Lake Arrowhead
*Outdoorsy places like Big Sur, Tahoe, Yosemite
*Rent a beachfront house (timeshare?).
*NEW ZEALAND!
*Road Trip

Ok.. hopefully that's enough to get you thinking about some possibilities for spending your spring break.

Albert!!

Were you planning on visiting this month? I was just wondering if you had already come and gone without us knowing! =)

I'm thinking of a possible vacation during Spring Break (mid-April) but don't know where I'd want to go. Suggestions friends? =)

The Great Urban Race!

Do you guys watch The Amazing Race? Did you know they have a version of this in cities across America?

It's called the Great Urban Race...in teams of two, you solve 12 clues and the first teams to finish go to a National Championship. It looks so cool!! There are physical challenges & thinking challenges. You basically get to discover the city and do all sorts of crazy things along the way while competing against others.

This would be neat to do - they have one in LA & San Diego but you don't even have to live in that city to participate.

THE GREAT URBAN RACE!!
