Happy Presidents Day!?! Do people really say that?

Hey everybody, how goes it? =)

I'm planning a trip back home sometime during the second half of March. I'll let you guys know when I figure out an exact date.

I hear the weather down there is just as bad as up here. I guess it's not all bad though. It's the perfect weather for tea and/or hot chocolate, reading a book, or sleeping in.

How are things going for me? Re-arranged my room. Got a new housemate. Work is going well. Going to a Stephen Marley concert later this week. Tara is gewd and says hello.

Kressler - Have you tried out any new restaurants lately? I wish I could go to the OC restaurant week. The Taste of Anaheim still lingers in my mind (That doesn't sound quite right). I also like the juxtaposition of the OC food-fest followed by the CNN video on the Texas buffet.

For some reason the video doesn't load, but if it's the story about the lady and the rat in the food... then I call shenanigans! I really don't think they actually had a rat in the food and I think it was placed there by the woman. Inspectors found no trace of the presence of rats at the restaurant and other aspects of the story point to foul play on the woman's behalf. However, the restaurant in question did have previous minor violations including ones for employee hand-washing?!? Yuck.

Lisa - How are you? Have you done any interesting stuff lately? By the way, how was the coffee and how's the aeropress? I think there's an online video tutorial on how to use it....

Kim - Where are you? I never know when you're in California or when you're in Boston. I hope things are going well. Have you made any new and exciting discoveries (food, drink, places to go,ect..)? Thanks for the NPH on SNL post. That was classic.

Rodel - Have you seen the new Nikon 35mm lens? =) Or should I ask, do you have one yet? I know the weather doesn't warrant it right now but hopefully it'll be tennis weather in march. We should play and then follow it up with some Pho. Good lord I miss the stuff. It's hard to find good Pho up here. Although I did find a good place for Bo 7 Mon (seven courses of beef).

Patrick - How's V5 coming along? Is there anything new going on at the house or in general? Hopefully Martyn has gotten his driver's license and is no longer sleeping in your closet.

Orange County Restaurant Week!

If anyone wants to try restaurants in OC for restaurant week, it's February 22-28. They added more restaurants since my first post, put up menus and have different prices. Lunches can be $10 or $20 while dinners are $20, $30 or $40 depending on where you go.

I know I should be trying new restaurants mainly BUT there are some good ones I'd like to revisit just because it's a good deal such as Ruth's Chris and the Clubhouse. Many restaurants have their menus on the site but not all of them do (since it's still early I think).

I want to go to multiple restaurants...I'm addicted to food. =)
