WE MISSED JOHN MAYER....AGAIN!!

ok, the first time i understood why we missed him at hotel cafe - no announcement. but this time...it was posted on his freakin myspace last night...and lisa & i were actually hanging out last night too. had i checked the damn thing again last night then perhaps we could have gone!

i check that thing all the time...for occasions such as these. boo on you john mayer...boo on you. i do partially blame myself for this, but really...all this playing at hotel cafe in secret is really pissing me off. obviously checking on a daily basis isn't enough for you? i have to be one of those losers who goes to your page every hour? if i miss any more of these stupid shows, i'm going to go on a roaring rampage of revenge (much more so than now)

Hola

Did you all have an excelente cinco de mayo weekend? Tara's birthday was on cinco de mayo so there was much celebration, drinkages, good food, and gifts.

Oooh.. Congratulations on the Nikon DSLR, Rodel. I've been thinking about getting a new digital camera but I just can't bring myself to make a decision. A digital slr is pretty much the cream of the crop so I know if I got one of those I probably wouldn't have to buy another camera any time soon. Plus, you get the most control, and you can set everything manually. Getting to change lenses is a big plus too. Only problem is that they're big and pricey. Also, the temptation to be buying new and super pricey lenses would be overwhelming! So uh... did you get any lenses for your camera yet? =)

Hmmm.. that was actually a decent video clip, I was expecting something entirely craptacular when I realized it was a star wars light saber scene.

How's your brain training going as well? I'm sure you've shed some years since your last post. My advice is to never do the game that requires you to say the color of the word and not the word itself. It almost always never recognizes the word "blue." The stress alone from screaming "BLUE!" repeatedly is sure to add years onto your brain. I managed to reach a brain age of 20 the last time I played >.<

By the way, the DS Lite comes out on June 11th. The inaugural color is white (to match those white ipods) and the introductory price is 130. Significantly smaller and better looking with 2 retina-burning bright screens. I think big-brain academy is also being released soon so you can pump up your brain some more.

In other news, I finally got my costco membership yesterday. I immediately then proceeded to buy salad, dryer paper, and paper towels. Wow, I feel so domestic. I guess that's just the feeling you get when you buy things in warehouse bulk sizes and reduced cost. I need to go back there and get my pictures developed.

School is going alright although it's been a bit busy lately. I also lent my friend at stanford my speakers so he can annoy his unhygenic apartment mate. Peanut Butter Jelly Time with full bass for hours a day is the gist of it. I'm glad they're being put to good use. So I'm relegated to headphones for the time being (the ones you gave me rodel, thank you very much).

I'm glad you had a good time on your school camping trip Lisa. Jeez, I actually remember my 6th grade camping trip from oh so long ago. I see your love of camping, hiking, and things outdoorsy has been renewed. You should come visit me sometime. I live very close to two large state parks with lots and lots of trails and waterfalls. I went just the other weekend in fact.

I hope things are going alright for you Kressler. I can't remember the last time I've chatted with you on aim where you're not tired or busy. Mayhaps a spa weekend is in order for you? Oh yes, I think I actually remember meeting John and Pearl at your birthday at Bobby McGee's way back when. Mmmmm.. prime rib. Mmmmm... wedding food.

Free wine in Boston eh? Intriguing. I hope that wine book I got you is coming in handy =) I might just get it for myself.

Pat? Pat? You alive?
