Yay for Kress!!! Goddamn woman, it's about time yes?
Okay, so instead of working diligently on my experimental designs, I got sidetracked and started websurfing. I figured I wasn't going to watch the Dawson's Creek series finale because the thought of Dawson and Joey ending up makes me barf... but then, I got sucked into reading spoilers and I'm happy to say that I WILL watch the finale!!! Mwahaha!!

okay, so universities are supposed to be smart enough to schedule their finals correctly enough so that none conflict with one another, right? bah! some genius somewhere decided that having my spanish final scheduled at the same time as my neurobio final was a good idea. so i asked my spanish professor if it was at all possible that i may reschedule the spanish final. he said no. he even quoted something to the effect that "no final will be scheduled to conlict with a language final." to which he proceeded to tell me that the other professor will have to reschedule. so i went to the lab TA because we do indeed have a conflict exam in which i may take if i have problems with the originally scheduled final. but as luck would have it, the conflict exam is scheduled to be in conflict with another of my exams!!!!!! arrgh... not all is lost though. i went to the professor of the class with the third class in question and he was very nice and told me (since he's like head chair or something like that of the neurobio dept) to go talk to the head of the neurobio lab dept and tell her the sitch and if still all is lost he'll help me out.
also, BOO GALAXY TUTORING! that class is just the freaking bane of my existence! none of those people are actually getting tutored!! all their getting is old test and free answers that they can just memorize and regurgitate so that the rest of us hard-working and studying people can get screwed over! so, for my neurobio class, we just had a final. the prof (who's actually pretty cool so i'll refrain from blaming him) recycles some questions every year, so of course, those jerks at galaxy have access to those questions. so on the test, like half of the questions were recycled and those galaxy brats totally trashed the curve! not all is lost however because the prof has become wary of it and has decided to throw out the recycled questions and to make up for it, we'll have a proportionate amount of questions added to the final based on his portioin of the class. it totally blows that i'll have to do extra studying at the end. however, because of this debacle, the bio dept. has finally decided to do something about. they've convened and are taking action! so, while it totally blows that i'll have to study more for the final, it brings a pure joy to my heart that those galaxy assh*les are finally going to get theirs! bwa ha ha!
in other news, aced my behavioral neurobio midterm, or at least it feels like i did. :)
i do not have a universal pass. however, i wouldn't mind getting one if the same deal were open. =)

lol lisa...i was an eyewitness to the lovefest on stage... =) duncan is definitely an awesome guy...very friendly and mellow. i saw the whole duncan and lisa exchange...hehe. smooth...does not describe it, hehe j/k =) although i couldn't hear what she said, i imagined it would be in a squeeky voice cuz that's how lisa is around them celebrities...lol =) but i will give "hungry chicken" props to you LISA for asking for a hug from duncan *peck peck peck*....that was completely amazing - never thought you'd do that and that required more nerve than i could imagine. hehe...your duncan moment was definitely kickass! =) better than any fantasy meeting i may have imagined with mr. mayer =)
as to the actual show, it was all that and a bag of chips....the opening act was THE WEEKEND, who were great and duncan's set was long but very, very wonderful...mixed up the mellow with the guitar rock...it was a great nite. thanks lisa!! =) don't forget to buy our john mayer tickets thursday online!! and if you want to see mraz in may, i will go with you...might be cool to see you have an mraz moment...you'd have to decide which is better =) i have a feeling duncan may be.. =)

Ok...Kress said "blog!" so here it is... =)
DUNCAN SHEIK + LISA = HUG!!! =) Woohoo...it was a super dooper show, yes, lots of wondeeful music and then we got to meet Duncan himself!!!!!!!
Well, I did, Kress stood in the shadows, giving me my shining moment with the man himself. Ah =). A stuttering fool, I asked for the infamous signature and when asked for my name I replied in my squeeky toy voice, lisa. *stupid*
Then as calmly as heavenly possible, I remarked how great the show was...he smiled and asked if I had a good time...I replied, "oh yes, it was great, this is my first time, I had fun" (yeah, i know, more stupid bumbling...!!)
He handed me my freshly autographed ticket and pen and in my most shameful display of goofiness, I asked for a hug. Yes, that's right, with shoulders scruched, head tilted and the squeekiest voice possible, I asked Duncan, "could i give you a hug?". And do you know what he said?? He smiled (he's so sweet) and despite my childish demeanor said, "of course". =) omg, I could have stayed there in that spot forever =). he's a very good hugger =).
Well, that was the adventure...overall, a 10+ =) thanks kress!! =)
Hope alls well everyone!!! luv me =)

hello hello!!! =)
today was the best day ever!! first, it all started when i got to see my hunny this morning. then off to school...blah blah...tutoring...blah blah...after my nite class ended at 945, i had a lot of missed calls. one was from my friend gabe who got a teaching job (after much persistence and hard work)...so yay! for him...then i got another voicemail from the CSUF Single Subject Credential Program in biology!! double yay!! after all my hard work and fullerton trying to screw me over...oh joyous day, i have an interview for the program. my friend gabe says the interview is one of the last steps and is treated more as a formality than anything else...
so, i am ecstatic about this...then i come home to find a package on my bed...some john mayer stuff i had ordered previously...and when i open the package...i find autographed sheet music....only 25 people got signed sheet music at random...so this is triple kick ass day...woohoo!! just wanted to share...hehe
