April 17th...also a saturday. SPA DAY!! hooray, back to the spa we go...on beach & pch. we plan on an afternoon at the spa and staying the nite...all mokroopals are invited!!

welps...the weekend was good =) Although, I'm a bit scraped up from the beach *sigh*, but thanks Kress =). Kim...you missed out on good old tennis fun and delicious beverages, albert's haircut and beach afternoon! =) I'm sure you were having tons of fun though doing whatever it was you were off to =).

My kids join me at school tomorrow...vacation is officially o-v-e-r. booooooooo!

I applied for a pharmacy tech job at the sav-on today. It was horrible. I had to use this stupid machine to apply. It did a personality test on me and asked me like a hundred questions... im sure there were really only 25 questions.. but each question was reworded 4 times....

Oh yes... THANKS FOR THE TORCH! hehe... I've actually been using it... it ran out of butane today so I'll have to use the butane can you bought for me to refill it... so yes, it's been used a total of about 30 minutes since I've got it... it's great for barbecues and chem lab... I mean honestly... bunsen burners pale in comparison nowadays.... the only way it could possibly get any better is if i were to get an oxyacetylene torch or a high-powered laser......

hmmm.. any plans for saturday? ^_^ I should probably get a haircut sometime soon too...

oh good grief...i can't wait for this week to be over. i used to hate fridays...now i look forward to them. the sad thing is that i fall asleep at like 8pm unless we go out...how very, very depressing.

maybe next week will be better with me missing a couple of days for convention & the job fair...and subbing for AP and Honors Biology...

i don't think it was a terrible week, but i have been utterly tired...inexplicably so. oh well...it's thursday...just one more day to survive through... =)

i took a day off from PCN practice after having a successful rehearsal at the carpenter center (the theater) i just called there and they are having fun because the song is now done and stuff is coming together.

i won't have jury duty for sure until friday so that means I can study for math, or somewhat study and then i can stay at home and relax.

On Sunday, me and my partner took home the Sportsfest 1st place doubles titles. We came back from 1-7 (9 points to win the set) and won 9-7 and won the finals 9-3. So what happened before the comeback, I threw my racket, hit a ball over two fences, and threw a bit, then i went into leyton hewitt mode, you know with those "come on's" real loud so everyone can hear them. PAC is going to have a big trophy ceremony for us tomorrow at the PAC meeting. But i won't be there because i have a test that day, so it will probably be done at practice at 6 pm, in which I can make.

i hated coming out of practice today cause I was in deep concentration and people were yelling rudely at me and I spent the whole rest of the half just venting to myself and not having fun, it was crappy.

it has been quite a tough week...and i would write about it but i am still tired. it's sort of depressing...

anyways, yesterday some teachers from katella went to dave & busters...about 7 i guess. i went...but gabe was supposed to visit that day, but ended up not actually seeing me teach...but he went to dave & buster's with me and we got to talk for a while. haven't seen him in a long time, but he said he'd come visit my school next week and he'd be going on a trip to sf soon...and to new york next month...and having another bbq in april. he bought me a drink and we ate some dinner..

afterwards, i was going to go back to school to watch "Mr. Knight - Survivor of the Knight" but i called rodel instead to hang out...turns out he was actually home...so i went over to hang out...and then proceeded to sleep for about 3 hours! i came home, went straight to bed...where i slept for 12 hours! good grief, i guess the week was more tiring than i thought....lots of stuff happened, but my synopsis will come later...

anyone want to kick it tonite? hehe...call or blog....

Hi guys!!!!! =) I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack! =) lol
awwwwww....although I throughly enjoyed my stay in the mountains...and I've regained my desire for hiking...I earned each and every penny of my pay this week and then some!!! It was much more work than any of us expected!!

Ultimately, I was on watch 24/7...eating with the kids...sleeping with the kids (or not sleeping =s)...hiking with the kids...sharing the bathrooms with the kids...getting sunburned with them...dealing with extra parents in my room (who by the way, I felt like I had to watch like she were another one of my students!)... *sigh*...6th graders have more drama in one week than I do all year! On a positive note...the scenery was beautiful, the food was better than I expected, the staff was great, I loved my naturalist and met some wonderful people from other schools, bonded with my kidies, and realized that if I can do this week...I can do anything =) lol.

I hope everyone else's week was as crazy as mine =) (sounds like it was!!! =0 )

it has been a sort of stressful week...and it's only tuesday.

today i stayed after school to watch a plethora of school sports...watching a bunch of my students play tennis, play volleyball and play baseball. I think i got home around 630 and was tired...but it was good. i got to see a bunch of my students play and it was pretty awesome...watching hs tennis makes me nostalgic. =) and i totally thought to myself...hey, i could kick some tennis patooties out here...lol. their original coach was fired because of a forged document...and so their coach now...not so sure if he knows much about tennis. a big part of me wanted to give them pointers and coach them out on the courts...but alas, i did not.

other stuff happening...one of my students is really making me worried. apparently there was a situation with him over the weekend...and it's big trouble with law enforcement let's say...he is completely altered and i worry over his state. oh the world of teaching...insanity. the 10th graders are taking the exit exam today and tomorrow...kind of nice to have a smaller class in 3rd period but they will be nutty on thursday...which is when i'm evaluated. oh well... =T

where is the taco?? where is everyone for that matter? seems so quiet and isolated. haven't talked to anyone in days...so very, very strange. hope lisa is having a blast in the mountains and you all survive the week...i'll be up tonite writing out my stupid lessons to turn in tomorrow..

hey, it's st. patrick's day tomorrow!! wear green, drink and be merry! i think i'm skipping my 410 class tomorrow nite to go out with the teachers...but i'll make it up...saturday morning...booo!!! =) well, talk to you guys soon... =)

Finally, things are coming together at school, me and dx finally talked to each other after a 10 day strike of each other, lol. So everything is turning out great, although the leader of my dance challenged me to shave my head, in which i took. But everyone has to do it, So yeah.

Sportsfest is this weekend. I'm playing some tennis and some volleyball, the schedules should be up this week on cal poly pomona's website, up in cowville, not town cause that's sacramento.

well if i don't do a B or higher on my next calculus test on thursday, I'm outta there. The teachers been abusive to students feelings, and i hope he gets fired. It was funny at first, but it's now gone overboard.

verra tired... have two tests on weds, anatomy and american ethnicity. have a 110% in anatomy... don't think i should try hard anymore since i'm only striving for mediocrity. have a B in ethnicity, but midterm will be hard... just want week to be over so that i may return to my normal procrastinating self.

someone from uci called me (on my cell O_o) trying to pimp me for money that i don't have. hello, i JUST graduated, i'm a poor mofo!

last week started off miserably, but as it moved along there was a sort of delightfulness about it...and it ended pretty well. now tomorrow starts a new week and who knows what it will bring.

i'm finally feeling like i belong in the teaching world a little...but now i think about how there's only 3 months left to the school year and how i may never see my kids, this school or my teachers again...and that makes me sad.

instead of taking my pictures today, i went shopping...and bought a new suit. a black skirt suit...that was retail $280 but i got it for less than $70 [that's including tax]...boo-yah! =) too bad you guys couldn't go today....there were HUGE sales everywhere...especially robinson's...whoa. next week, i will get my pictures taken and maybe buy shoes...i dunno yet.

maroon 5 tickets for san diego have been purchased...mark your calendars...JUNE 23rd, WEDNESDAY!! it's at the sd fair...show starts at 7:30...we have floor tickets so we must park our patooties there early... =) everyone owes me $33.00 for the tickets...and lisa, i wrote you a check for the money i owe you...and will give it to you next time i see you.

anyways, i should get back to work...i need to create a makeup test and figure out what the heck i'm actually teaching... =)

Wow Kim. I'm quite impressed. Everything seems to be looking on the up and up for you. I'm sure you'll do well with your interview and going back to work must be nice not only because you get some more moolah but it helps the days pass by too ^_^

I'd like to go to the Maroon 5 concerts as well. It's going to be a bit tougher since they keep on getting more and more popular. Maybe the Santa Clara concert will be our best chance? Concerts are great. I hope we can find some other up and coming person or band to see.

Yeah, sometimes you just have to lay down the law with your students. It's tough to be a good teacher and respect doesnt come naturally in this day and age sadly. So kudos to you Kress and I'm sure things will get better as you gain experience.

Anyway, I have a long night ahead of me but hopefully I'll be able to sleep early tonight as opposed to early tomorrow morning ^_^ (4 a.m. is not a good bed time) I have to study for ochem test part 2. raah!!! guess who has an interview with USC in a couple weeks??? unfortuanately, it's the weekend of the tentative new york/duncan sheik show... so i shan't be able to go if you guys decided to make the trip... =( on missing NY and mr sheik, =) on getting an interview. my friend who had an interview already with them this year said it was pretty laidback, even moreso than western, so i have high hopes. *grin*

can you believe my teacher was half upset with me when i talked to him today because i did not shake his hand on friday?? whoa...he asked if i was mad at him, and i said...well, sort of but not really cuz he had picked on me so much. then he said, that i didn't shake his hand and saw that as a sign of not being courteous...i was quite surprised. i was joking...and he thought i was being mean. he said that his wife said that i was probably joking around, and i was...and i told him that i was only trying to be funny and that i regard him in such a way that does not warrant handshakes...like, i don't go around and shake hands with my friends...so he said ok. i apologized to him for that cuz i didn't know that he would take it like that...although he did pat my cheek as if i were a dog. what a dork! he gives me a hard time then gets all sensitive...it's cool though...i think it's sort of funny.

he said that had fun...he liked eric and nayif...although he pictured nayif completely different, like shorter & darker...hehe. he said he liked albert and thought you were funny...he wished he could have talked to lisa for longer because you seemed so nice and friendly...however, he said that kim seemed sort of indifferent...and did not thank him for the drink...and to remind you that you did not thank him for the drink...hehe. i asked if i thanked him...and he said yes, and that if i didn't he would let me know it...lol.

anyways...good times, good times =) now off to do some work i go...
