good day everyone!! =)

i just got about 3 hours of sleep, but i am wide awake and very delighted today... =)

last nite was honestly one of THE BEST SHOWS i have been to...a top 3 concert...and let's face it, in the last 6-8 months, i've been to a lot of shows...hehe. first off, i hope no one was bothered that i asked stephanie to hang out with us...so sad to go to such a great concert by yourself...as jesse would say, we need to share the love.. =) she turned out to be totally cool...and how freaky that she went to the same shows that we did. you're right lisa...she did seem to be familiar people...hehe. but it's a great thing that we befriended her because she took some pictures for us when we didn't have a camera...yay! =)

big city rock was....odd. i mean, i think this is the first time in a long time where i didn't really like the opener...but that last song was freaking cool. they really did sound like a bad cluster of 80's bands...but sometimes things get to the point where they are so bad, but it's so good...hehe =) and that last song...whew...so bad, it was good...i had no idea people still had those keyboard/guitar crappy casio things...hehe. makes me think of a strongbad email... =)

gavin degraw...might i just say...his set was sooooo good. =) absolute favorites...of course..follow through, chariot & let's get it on i loved the part where he stood on top of the speaker...and when he sang to the crowd without the microphone... =) his energy and smile are so infectious, you can't help but feel that energy infused in you. although the set seemed a little short and he played *let's get it on* again...it was so awesome. i can't imagine him putting on a bad show ever...

maroon 5...i can also safely say that i can't imagine them putting on a bad show ever either...i heart them!! =) they played everything i think...except sweetest goodbye. i thought to myself right at the end...it would be great to end the show on sweetest goodbye...but i am actually much, much happier on how it did end. =) first of all, how odd how that random girl came up and kissed mickey, adam and james....hehe. that was hilarious...and completely messed adam up...but that was so great. =) adam had a new haircut...and he's still hot...hehe...and jesse...woot...him and his hat. he is the epitome of cool....he is so peaceful and happy... =) it's no secret that sunday morning is my favorite off the album...although i love all the songs on the album. i know that secret is one of their favorites to perform and that was so awesome last night. for the encore...damn the crowd...they were not screaming loud enough. for a moment i thought they might be reluctant to come out since the crowd wasn't throwing a fit. however, they did come out and that was so freaking awesome...i loved when they played frontin' by pharrell...it was great in LA and it was so awesome last nite. and then...to end the show on highway to hell by ac/dc...that was THE BEST!! so much energy from everyone...and adam playing drums while ryan sang and played guitar...omg, soo cool!! i've never seen them do that before...man, adam can really play those drums! and ryan...i never expected that out of him...he's usually so quiet. =) and james tearing apart his guitar...it was just a great, great, great way to end things... =) i heart maroon 5!! =)

so afterwards, the signing....mr. gavin degraw...you are the best! how awesome was it that he actually stayed out that entire time to sign and meet the fans... =) he was so sweet...he called me dear a few times...he's so cute, him and his accent. i told him how excited i was to meet him and when i first met him...he said, hi i'm gavin...well, of course he is! =) i said, hi i'm kressler...then he repeated my name and said it was nice to meet me...and i asked if he wouldn't mind taking a picture and he said of course he wouldn't mind...hehe. that was so cool...he had his arm around me in the picture...woot. lisa! i want a copy...please!! =) he was so cool...i think the third time you guys went to talk to him i said that we loved him or his music...and he said thank you dear. =) i heart gavin degraw!! =)

that was awesome...and kim & lisa, you two are funny. hehe...it was a nearly perfect nite...it would have been perfect if we met maroon 5...but it's ok. we have to catch a show where they open for someone, and then we will meet them for sure. darn us for not going out at the mayer irvine show for during counting crows...they were wandering around!! we could have befriended them at the snack bar! =)

so last nite, when we came home...i was obviously in a great mood. i graded my tests and went to bed at 330am...and woke up at 7...hehe. and i am wide awake...=) so i hope everyone has a lovely day...and spreads the love =)
