hehe, kim...i was actually referring to albert being missing and not you going to boston...but that was cute. =)

other brief things to blog about...yesterday i saw mailinh performing on vietnamese television [kim, lisa and rodel will understand] - good grief. that conjured up memories of how stuck up she was and how she's so phony...

today was the last day of summer school! so happy...i was all ready and prepared...had my kids watch movies today and didn't deal with the hassle of anything. hooray. it took me less than five minutes to check out - it was wonderful. the math kids really loved the cranes and stars...took them a little while to get it, but once they did they went crazy folding... =) i let them take the rest of the paper so they could make more if they wanted. they were so funny...one of them said i should be a preschool teacher because i was so patient - that their parents weren't even as patient as me...and it's also funny to see how they get frustrated when they try to teach others and they don't get it. =) some of them hugged me goodbye...and it's funny. the majority of the class got F's...and i'd expect them to be whiny and cranky about it, but they took it quite well. actually, they were nicer to me and we had a fun time in class folding. i think they thought i was a good teacher and that they were the ones who didn't step up and do the work. it was good to end on that note. =)

anyways, after seeing albert and rodel today [they came to my class!] we went to costco & ate...and i came home and fell asleep until now. =) i am exhausted but i'm glad it's over and i made some sort of impact. i completely forgot that my orientation is tomorrow...so the work never ends!!
