August 2nd: I can't live without...
1)Water & food...this is from today: water with lemon, turkey chili (recipe I'm testing out today) and three macarons (earl grey, raspberry & passion fruit).
2)ATP - my science teacher answer. We need ATP as our cellular energy source! :)
It's interesting that the universal organic energy currency is based off of the DNA nucleoside, Adenine. Also related to FAD and NAD of the Kreb's cycle, two other molecules used for energy.
All right Mr. Biochemistry :) I don't even teach FAD or NAD+ to my students - they barely grasp the idea of multiple cycles/processes happening in photosynthesis & respiration.
Funny how we think we have all this tech stuff now & it helps us be better BUT in terms of learning in school, students retain less and less - content has sacrificed. :(
