we're not so crazy...

howdy all...so glad this week is finally over!! 7 more weeks of teaching and it will be the end of my 1st year... =)

lisa and i went to a free ben folds show at virgin megastore yesterday...it was so awesome!! i have not always been the biggest ben folds fan...but i do really like this new album of his and admire his very awesome piano work. he was rockin' yesterday...opened up with a cover of inbetween days by the cure...w00t! he also performed *bitches ain't shit* by dr. dre & snoop...it was worth the parking frustration just to hear those 2 songs. he played a few from the new album including bastard, jesusland & landed...and i didn't recognize the rest of the songs. =) gotta see him live...

afterwards, lisa and i had wristbands (thanks lisa for getting them!!) for a signing. it was not that exciting...we stood in line for about 1.5 hours and when we got to the front, we gave him what we wanted signed, a post-it if we wanted it personalized...and then they took a picture if we had a camera...then bid us farewell and to get out of the store. hehe...that's all right though...i have a signed cd cover + a picture =)

i will buy aqualung tickets today...so if you change your minds, let me know asap.

today mr. wilmoth pulled a surprise visit on me.. =) gosh, it's so hard to decide on things...especially now that i got an exceptional review this year from admin. and they asked me to coach OCAD at esperanza. he said i'd be a great OCAD coach.. =) but he also said for me to think about the katella position.

we also got to talking about concerts...guys, we're not that crazy. he has/had tickets for 4 U2 concerts...anaheim, san diego, las vegas & LA - floor seats nonetheless! how crazy is that...plus, he has tickets for springsteen & the eagles too. perhaps it is my influence that is rubbing off on him lately..hehe. i just thought it was funny to hear about all his concerts this time around...him having more concerts than us? shameful! =) we had a nice conversation and i'm glad i got to see him...hooray for random visits! =)

i'm not sleepy and it's past 3:30 as i type this...it's because i slept from about 5:30 to 9...knocked out from the week. albert & rodel came over then...fixed my computer (thanks guys!) and we went to harry's...yum! everything is hunky-dory...

maybe we can get together sometime this weekend...it seems to be a bit slow. maybe a sunday social gathering...i guess we'll decide later. =) for now, have a good day... =)
