success mokroopals! i FINALLY got into anatomy. you must hear the story. there were two classes this morning, one at 9 and one at 935. I went to the 9 first and ran into a fellow anteater who had been my lab partner once. she too was trying to add anatomy for pharm school. also, i recognized lots of other faces in the crowd who were or used to be anteaters. my friend got into the 9 o'clock class, via the evil lottery, but i had to sadly pick up my stuff and move to the 935. at the 935 class, the teacher droned on and on and on and on about everything under the sun. the 40+ of us who were trying to add the class had to stand in the back for nearly an hour before he decided to do the lottery. whilst he was talking, i was chatting a little with a lady next to me, telling her how i desperately needed this class. when the professor drew names, he drew this girl's name, but not mine. crushed, i was ready to move on to yet another anatomy class to make another attempt, yet the girl who i had been talking to and who had been the lucky winner of a draw let me take her spot!!! she said she wanted me to have it since i needed it more and my interview was on thursday. she was so incredibly sweet, i asked if i could buy her lunch or do anything for her and she said to not worry about it. and get this guys, her name is Daisy!!! coincidence or karmic much? i've decided, since she wouldn't let me pay her back, that i will pay the universe back by doing a nice thing for a stranger. i haven't thought of what yet, but the idea has been planted.
