hooray and congratulations to our kimmy.. =) yes, we went to onami...but if you could only see the pain on albert's face last nite...hehe.

well, today was officially my first day. it wasn't terrible, although 3rd and 6th don't like me much anymore...i've actually got some classroom rules now and i'm ready to enforce them...muahaha. to me, of course i want my kids to like me...but if they don't then it's not a big deal. and if i exchange them liking me for some classroom management and control, then i will gladly do so. they don't know it yet, but this is for their own good. watch the detentions fly tomorrow. =)

i think my rules are pretty standard, but they act as if it were such a horrifying shock that a teacher would tell them to not cheat, not eat in class and to be respectful...i didn't think i was asking for a miracle, but i guess i am. the plan is to be a complete hardass...to get them to straighten up a little...then we'll see about being nice.

all we did today was go over new curriculum papers, new seating charts and the final exams...not too bad. tomorrow will be the real test. 3 preps...3 periods. i think i will be ok, but you never know. =) and so it begins...and ends. day 1 is over. =)
