so..this guy jude is amazing...playing at largo on 7/26. lisa and i have seen him once and it was a blast...he has a "gay cowboy" song that was written waaaaay before brokeback...and now there is a video montage for the song on his site...take a look =)
in other news, i am pretty bored...i have been doing tiny bits of work each day (or every other day)...and am pretty lonesome. vacation sucks...a time of nothing. everyone is busy or working...i barely see or talk to rodel once a week. don't get me wrong - it's nice to get a rest from the kids & stress...but having nothing to do is almost as torturous! having no school or work seems like the perfect situation, but i guess i'm one of those people that needs something to do...having no work is the same as giving me time now to go insane! oh well...i'm sure by the time school starts i will be begging for more vacation, just like every other year.
see you all on saturday...i will get a cake for ~20 people, make a giant dish of taco dip (lisa's recipe - so make sure there are tortilla chips) and i might even take a stab at making potato salad should i be adventurous enough. =)
and now back to my wallowing.. =)
