long time no blog....well, let's see what's happened...

the language & brain midterm went ok...so-so...we'll have to see when the scores come out. this week has been pretty good. i finally got assigned to a high school...i go to saddleback hs and work with mrs nickerson, mr casper and mr knight...they're all pretty cool. my first day i just made some observations, but they're all really nice and i get to hang out with fellow teachers.. =) it was pretty fun...two of the classes i observed were with spanish only speakers...which was not as bad as i thought because i actually understood some of the spanish. and it turns out that mr casper went to cypress hs and that he lives like on katella and holder...freaky. he has posters and all this stuff in his classroom...and it reminds me of some sort of mix between me and my sister. they gave me friendly teacher advice and all the gossip about what's going on in the school and i feel like i belong...in fact, they were trying to convince me to get my emergency credential and apply for a science teacher job there...hehe, since they would be having openings. but yes, it was pretty cool...
