so yeah...i heart john mayer (we all know)...but sometimes this fan club thing REALLY gets me frustrated. they announced his summer tour today...and the presales are two days from now...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Not only are they two days from now BUT they are making things difficult for me to actually buy tickets.
for example, they are on sale at 10am - i'll be in the middle of teaching the pathway of blood through the heart/lungs/body. also, if i want a chance at a meet and greet, i need to be in the chat room trivia thing...then they send an email once you are confirmed to have bought tickets through the club...
being in fan club gives me a better chance of getting tickets, but it's always a crap shoot! it's like saying to me, "we torture you first and you might get some sort of seating." whenever i try through ticketmaster, the tickets always sell out or they're so far away that it's better for me to listen to a live album on cd rather than go to the concert. *sigh*
someone could be utterly awesome and try to buy tickets online for me since i don't know if i'll be able to...but it's almost a guarantee that everyone will be busy. again, frustration engulfs me.
fyi: maroon 5 gives more notice for ticket sales...and tickets are distributed by club seniority. take notes john mayer fan club!! reward your most devoted fans instead of trying to screw them over!
