howdy hey peoples... =) it's been a long and exhausting week for me...having 4 finals this week, but i'm glad it's just about over.. =) good news is that i totally kicked butt on my exams. geology wasn't so bad, although i could have studied more and done better...but i think i will get an A in that class no matter what. the teacher really likes me and offered to write a recommendation letter or be a guest speaker or get resources for me when i teach science. mr. greenwood...you are the best! =) and susan, my lab partner, is the best too. she gave me a card and a gift, wishing me luck. she's actually going back to school to get an AA to stay an instructional aide, and i told her that i really admire her hard work and going back to school. geology was a good class. actually, all of my instructors this spring have been sooo great. mr. greenwood, karah street, travis vail...they've all had a positive impact on me and teaching. =)first aid was cake...and zoology...oh man, i totally thought i was going to be screwed over since my test was this morning and i barely studied last nite cuz i was talking to jackie about her and nutti not together and to rodel about the whole flo & keane fiasco over there...i got off the phone at like 230. i came home late and didn't really start studying til about 1130...but i sort of reviewed tuesday, so that helped i think. anyways, i woke up today and studied whatever i didn't study last nite, and went to class. i didn't even re-review the stuff i studied the nite before in slight consciousness. hehe..but i felt pretty ok with the material. turns out i got an 88 [without extra credit], the 2nd highest...yay!! and travis also graded our last lecture exam and i aced that one too...a 98/100...woohoo! =) i am on fire...i rock. =) hehe...so despite being a long, study-filled, tiresome week, it was a good week.

oh, and i haven't even blogged about jason mraz yet. you know...the concert was really cool. =) it was a lot better than i thought it was going to be...but he's sort of more perverse than mayer..hehe. talking about sex a lot [has it on shirts & buttons]...he's a bit funky and odd, but he's hilarious and very cool. he pulled some people up on stage to scat with him...but the girl he picked couldn't scat, so he started grinding/freaking...lol. sooo hilarious...and i like his onstage banter. =) all in all, a very good concert...but long! he didn't start playing until almost 1030...he had 2 openers. and i even left early [around 1230ish] cuz i was exhausted and had 2 exams that day. lisa stayed til the end...leaving approximately after 1am...gosh. it was hot, sticky, crowded and full of freaking tall people, all of whom were standing in front of me...hehe. but i still had fun, i like his music better and i think he's a great live show to see. now i'm excited to see all sorts of concerts. i think i enjoyed duncan more than mraz[less people, better view, and duncan stayed after]...but no one beats mayer...yet. =) well, i need to get off this computer at work and go home! hehe... =) bye peoples. =)
